Girl Anachronism (Version 2)

I like this version a lot better. It might not be as "spontaneous" as the last, but it definitely seems to make more sense.

Girl Anachronism.

"Please excuse her for the day, it's just the way the medication makes her."

This piece was a complete experiment for me, combining several different kinds of media. I first drew with a 0.35 mm black micron pen and Pentel brand markers. I then added brown construction paper with scotch tape to the piece before scanning it on the computer. I edited the piece in Corel Painter 8, using a flower overlay to get an effect on the brown construction paper.

The blue and red dots were an accident at first, but now I think it adds something to the piece.

I've been getting back into painting again, and decided to redo my Mickey Mouse gas mask design (which was originally digitally painted). I am very happy with the results.
